Woohoo! What a great first week we had back and a first week of the winter semester at TIA! We launched two new group classes this week, a new Kids Piano Lab and a new Kids Guitar Lab! We also welcomed several new private students in voice, piano, and trombone. Included within the new students were even a few adult students. We love our adult students! Next week we also launch a brand new kids drum lab! 

This week was the first week of classes in our new piano lab, and students seemed to really enjoy the new, full size, weighted key, beautiful digital pianos with benches.

But perhaps one of the most exciting things to me as director, is that not only did all of this happen, but we also moved one step closer to our mission of making excellent music education accessible to all, including those who otherwise couldn’t afford it! We have been able to scholarship a few students over the last few years, but with the help of all of our regular mission partner families this winter, we were able to scholarship one more student in need and offer reduced rate tuition to a few new students. This is just the beginning! We look forward to doing so much more.

Our goal is to enroll at least 25 new students this year through reduced rate tuition or scholarship made possible by mission partner support. And we could do more than that. To those that love music and believe in its importance in the community and the lives of its people, we always welcome your donation and partnership, no matter how small.
