Private Lessons in Ukulele
Conservatory quality private ukulele lessons at Tuned In are designed to give you the best overall instruction you need, and to prepare you for whatever it is that you want to be musically. If you just want to have a lot of fun and play the music you want to play, and learn how do it better, we can help you do that. We will discuss and teach you however about how to look at the music a little more carefully because we believe that music is never just music. Music has meaning, and as musicians, we should all seek to appreciate that better. The purpose behind private ukulele lessons at TIA is for you to have regular one-on-one personalized instruction, just for you, according to your needs.
Private Ukulele Lessons with Associate Faculty Member, Angelia
Angelia is the daughter of SD & Jenna. She has been studying music her whole life. Angelia is also a trained pianist and vocalist as well and is one of our most proficient and advanced guitar students. She has been singing and studying voice as long as she can remember.
The ukulele is a beautiful and unique instrument with a long history and tradition in the Hawaiian culture, but has long had a place in pop and folk music as well. Angelia taught herself to play the ukulele as a young guitarist that was deeply interested, and she’s been helping our students to find the fun and beauty in it ever since.
Angelia is one of our busiest team members and well-versed in performing in front of audiences and judges. As Miss Thurston County, Angelia has played and sang for audiences all over western WA and was the Producer’s Choice for Miss WA.
Private Ukulele Lessons with Student Teacher Lauren
Lauren is one of our stellar student teachers (ukulele and piano), and a student of SD’s (our director) and Angelia’s (another one of our student teachers and the daughter of SD and Jenna). Lauren will be fifteen this February, and under the direction of Jenna and SD. In addition to being a highly capable and committed piano and ukulele student and musician, Lauren is also a highly trained dancer and exceptional homeschool student learning through a classical model of education.
Lauren is bright, fun, and highly capable as a musician and she is excited to share her love and passion for music with others!
Lauren is enrolling now for private lessons in beginning piano and ukulele on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursday early afternoons.
Private lessons with student faculty are just $92 monthly for weekly half hour lessons.
