Fall 2020 is in full swing and we are so excited for a brand new year! Corona can’t stop the music! Which is so important, because music is important!
We are super excited to announce that not only are we growing, thank you so much to all who refer people regularly, YOU are our best advertising—but we are also growing our studio! The owner has finished the basement at 202 Phoenix and we will be adding the basement very soon! This will include about 630 more square feet with a permanent office for admin, a new drum/piano/classroom combo, and a new room we hope to house a baby grand piano in that will serve as a piano/voice/horn room.

The best way you can help is by telling your friends about TIA! So many of you already do this and are so awesome at it, and we appreciate it so much! We would love to see those basement rooms filled just as much as the upstairs, and the best way to make that happen is lots of new enrollments!
We have several really cool new labs starting up, tell your friends! Here’s a link to the listings on the website, and they are listed below as well. Of course, as always we are also always enrolling for private lessons, local, or virtual to anywhere in the world! So many kids are stuck at home and kind of stuck in a rut right now—especially band and orchestra kids without really having real music classes or intentional lessons. And we feel for them and we’re here for them! Tell them/their parents to drop us a line!
- Guitar Lab (ideal for kids 9 and up). Our labs are one of the best ways to learn music in the South Sound! Fun, affordable, and a great way to make friends and make music with your new friends! Tuesdays 3:30-4
- Ukulele Lab(ideal for kids 8 and up) Tuesday’s 4:15-4:45
- Non-traditional Piano Lab for Kids (9-11 ideally). This class is specifically designed for non-traditional learners. This beginning piano lab will teach students the piano in a way that will be fun, help them to make music right away, but NOT require reading music. Thursdays 11:45-12:15
- Beginning Piano for Vocalists. This class is specifically designed for vocalists. Tuesdays at 2
- Piano Lab(ideally for kids 7 and up) Wednesdays 1:15-1:45

Instruments and other needs:
We are seeking two pianos, ideally we would love a baby grand (so would our students), but two uprights would suffice. We actually found a baby grand that is in good condition that an elderly lady will sell us for $300, which is a steal (she is trying to clear her home so she can move closer to her kids). We are hoping either for donated pianos or donated funds to help purchase them. We would also be happy to have a local business (that fits with our mission and values) sponsor a piano which we could commemorate with a plaque and list on our website/FB page.
We also need a drum rug, and could definitely use more quality music stands as well. We can also use some wall art. If you know any local artists or photographers that would like to have their work displayed, primarily art that is focused on music, musicians, or elements of music (that fits with our mission and values), we would love to display it on the walls down there.
