We are excited to announce our new Mentor Sessions! Every Wednesday from 4-5PM we will host mentor sessions at the studio. These sessions are kind of like office hours with TIA music faculty. All currently enrolled TIA students are welcome to stop by during these sessions if you need help with some music you are working on, a particular technique, scale, transcription work—anything that you are working on! There is no cost to come to a mentor session for help. Consider it our gift back to you for being such a valuable part of the TIA community. We want you to love what you do with music. We want you to have fun. And we want you to get it.

This is a mentor session, which means that we will be training current TIA student mentors on the art of music mentoring as we help other students. Help will be offered on a first come first serve basis, and TIA faculty alternate weeks, but someone will always be there, as well as some of our student mentors.

Are you interested in becoming a mentor?

Just drop us a line. Do you know someone who would be a great mentor? Tell them to drop us a line. Those who join us to participate regularly in mentor training sessions can earn free tuition to a regular class of their choice. We will have tons of fun! We may even do pizza or something occasionally, and fun stuff like games, listening/music appreciation, etc.
