Start 2021 doing something new and wonderful, making music like you never have before! Learn to Improvise with SD in Improv 101 this January! SD has studied improvisation with world renowned jazz musician/educators Jerry Bergonzi and Hal Crook, as well as Phil Wilson, Jeff Stout, and Greg Hopkins. This class will be fun, relatable, and take from ZERO experience and understanding of improvisation to a new level of confidence and comfort making music spontaneously over a groove, over an individual chord, and eventually over chord progressions and songs. Participate locally at the studio in Olympia (limit to FOUR students for Covid-19 safety and social distancing), or online from anywhere. No book required. Ideal for music students that know at least a majority of their major scales.
