Winter 2020, Next Level Homeschoool Band at TIA!
Parents, do you have homeschool students that already play an instrument and read music? Give us a call and get them having fun and taking their music to the next level this winter at TIA!
Why next level?
Because at TIA you get more than just a group to play in and be a part of, which is a ton of fun and important. But you also get small group mentor-like instruction much like you would in private lessons, for a fraction of the price, taught by a fun, passionate, seasoned educator with a proven track record.
Your students will have fun, make friends, and learn the essentials of embouchure, technique, theory, scales, and how to make great music! They will of course also have the opportunity to participate in some of our many performance opportunities throughout the year!
Students will get 90 minutes a week of instruction and playing time! That’s one hour in a whole band class and 30 minutes of small group masterclass instruction (one for brass, one for woodwinds, and if needed, one for percussion).
Classes will begin this winter (January 2020). Tell your friends! Ideally for students 5th grade and up, with exceptions. We will need to meet and do an assessment to see where they are at (personal, informal, and non-threatening). Taught by our director, SD, who has over 22 years of experience as a music educator and founded our academy. Students will of course need an instrument and a book.
Tuition will be just $60 monthly for 90 minutes of instruction a week! $50 for each additional student. Parents welcome!
