Can you help us secure the future?
Want to make a big difference through music for many years to come? Our landlord has graciously offered to sell us the property we currently lease for our Olympia studio. This would be a tremendous advantage for a small non-profit academy of music like ours to own a building, and right downtown in Olympia. This would mean secure expenses, at least for mortgage, for the foreseeable future which would likely translate to us keeping tuition costs down which is a major goal of ours! This would also mean longevity, not having to move and find a new space!
We do need to come up with a down payment, significantly less than a bank would ask for, $30,000. And that is our goal. Would you help us meet that goal?
You can give directly through check to *TIA Northwest and simply designate “down payment” in the memo.
We are also more than willing to do an equity share for those who would prefer to invest. We are not unwilling to pay the downpayment. If the director had it he would glady write a check from his own personal funds!
*We filed for a new corporation, a 501(c)3 as TIA Northwest explicitly for the purpose of raising funds for The Tuned In Academy. Our attorney has suggested that we receive these funds through the new corporation. The application for tax exempt status is pending. Assuming the application is approved, which it should be, any contribution will be tax deductible.
