We need another drumset, for upstairs. There are several periods throughout the week when we have drum students downstairs on the beautiful QuestLove kit that so many like you helped us buy, and others upstairs on practice pads and buckets at the same time. For volume and budget, we think the best option is a practice kit which is great for students as the feel is the same, and they get the kit experience, but without the volume.
If anyone feels so led, please feel free to donate any amount you can spare via check, venmo, cash app, or cash, and just designate drumset. The one we want is about $360, which is not much, but we try very hard not to spend anything we don’t need to so we can keep tuition costs down. TIA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit (see link below). In fact, we have our first executive board meeting this May with our new board and we are super excited and hopeful for what they will accomplish! There are so many more in the community we could reach with the resources to do it!
