The Tuned In Academy

Exciting News: Non-Profit Status Coming Soon

Friends:

We made it to 270 “likes” on our Facebook page. Thank you so much. Numbers really don’t matter that much to us, but they do help with visibility. You matter to us. We do not put much into advertising because we never want to have to raise tuition rates to cover ad expenses. So the BEST advertising we can ask for is your support by “liking” our page, word of mouth, sharing of links and pages, and referrals.

But we have even more exciting news! Our attorney has approved the bylaws, conflict of interest policy, and articles of incorporation for The Tuned In Academy, Inc., D.B.A; The Tuned In Academy, a 501(c)(3) non-profit academy. More to follow on this. But the short explanation of what this means is that we hope soon to be able to make great music education available to a lot more people. And, for those of you who would feel led to give toward a great cause, your donations will very soon be fully tax deductible.

To the best of our knowledge, we will be the only non-profit federally recognized charity arts education academy in the Olympia area. This is significant to us, and we hope it will be to you as well, for a few key reasons:

  1. Accountability: As a non-profit you can rest assured knowing that we have a board of qualified, experienced, and caring individuals committed to the cause and mission of the academy as well as the appropriate usage of our funding.
  2. More Music and Art: As a non-profit, we exist not just to provide excellent music and arts education to those that can afford tuition, but also to make it accessible to those most in need of community, hope, and freedom from poverty, addictions, and pain, because we believe that music can make a significant difference in these areas.
  3. An Opportunity to Make a Difference: Do you love music and art? Have the arts made a significant impact in your life? As 5 a 501(c)(3) non-profit academy you will soon be able to give your tax deductible donations towards great arts education that will make a difference in the lives of individuals, families, the city of Olympia, and the greater South Puget Sound community.
