Flute is such a fun instrument and often a favorite for young students to begin with as a wind instrument! It’s affordable, it’s relatively easy to learn to make a sound on, and it’s easy to tote around. But flute of course is not just a fun and beautiful instrument to listen to and play, it’s also a very serious instrument that can play phenomenal music in a broad variety of styles. Whether your kid just wants to have fun and learn to play an instrument, or wants to get serious and become a proficient and powerful flautist, Brandy can help them get there!!
Brandy Brower is a former Army Bandsman trained at The Armed Forces School of Music. She served professionally as a flautist in the US and abroad.
The flute helps improve cognitive skills and agility, strengthens the core, promotes good posture, and helps musicians learn how to breathe well and use their lungs in a healthy and powerful way! It’s good for the body and the soul! Learning the flute helps students develop patience and perseverance, fine motor skills, and of course, musicality and expression!
