We are so excited to welcome Eric Sanchez to the team at TIA!
For years we have been searching for someone with Eric’s skill, background, and passion in hip hop and rap. Eric also brings to the team Latin music, which is a beautiful addition to what we seek represent and the community we desire to serve!
Eric is an independent Latin singer, songwriter and music producer. He was born in Puerto Rico and raised as an Army brat traveling the world. Eric grew up with a natural talent for music and exposed to diverse genres since the day he was born. He lived 8 years in Germany while in elementary school where he was selected to be part of an advance choir group touring Europe. Throughout middle school and high school, Eric played baritone horn, bass guitar, trumpet, piano and was in choir. He was privileged to be selected for all county bands, advance choir groups and soloist performances while living in Virginia, Texas and Puerto Rico.
In 2000, Eric joined the U.S. Air Force and deployed 2 times under Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. During his military service, Eric always sang the national anthem at events and even won 1st place at a morale event call “Desert Idol” while deployed in Kuwait. This allowed him to open up for the elite Air Force performance band called Tops in Blues where he was immediately offered a spot after his performance. Eric just recently retired from the U.S. Air Force after serving 20 years and is committed to starting a new chapter in his life dedicated to his love for music and serving his local community!
Eric has recorded 1 album and multiple singles. He is diverse in multiple genres but has a passion for Hip Hop, R&B and Latin music. He also currently serves as a Worship Leader and pastoral elder for the worship team at Life Center Spanish Church in Tacoma, WA. Most importantly, Eric is a complete fit with TIA mission and values and we are excited to have him on the team!
Eric will be booking soon for private lessons in rap, hip-hop, Latin music, and male vocals.
