TIA Tacoma! Your Go to Source for Private Music Lessons in Tacoma

We are so excited to announce that this winter we will begin offering private music lessons in piano, voice, and woodwinds (clarinet, flute, and saxophone) at our new satellite site in Tacoma!

We are also welcoming two brand new TIA faculty on to the team at this site. They will be joined by Molly and Jimothy as well.

We are enrolling now for piano and woodwinds, and will be enrolling voice very soon.

All TIA Tacoma lessons will take place at Peace Lutheran in Tacoma @ 2106 S Cushman Ave, Tacoma, WA 98405.

We have no official connection with Peace Lutheran other than the fact that they are nice people who love the community and are active in serving it through their community center. Also, Jimothy, one of the members of our faculty serves there as music director. TIA welcomes all people, wherever you are in life.

Private Lessons in Voice

Molly is a graduate of Western Washington University, and while young, in addition to having a degree in vocal performance with a classical approach, she already has an extensive background working as a vocal soloist, in choral groups, and teaching voice.

Molly has performed in Chicago, Peter Pan, Sweeny Todd, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Phantom of the Opera, Hansel and Gretel, Faust, Handel’s Messiah and many others.  Her passion for music also led her to be a part of many different choirs.  She was very proud to be a member of the Enumclaw High School Concert and Chamber Choirs, The Washington Ambassadors of Music, WWU Concert Choir and The Lynden Choral Society.  From these choirs she was able to travel to many different states in the U.S. as well as 9 different countries.  She received her Bachelor of Music degree from WWU in December of 2014 and is very excited to begin building her vocal studio.  She began teaching voice lessons at Squalicum High School in Bellingham before moving back to the Enumclaw to teach at Enumclaw Music and now to the Tacoma area.  Her passion for singing is what drives her excitement to teach aspiring singers about proper technique and show them a true love for music.

Most importantly, Molly shares our values and mission and comes to us highly endorsed by former students, parents of students, and teachers. Molly teaches voice from a classical approach and has an extensive background and passion for musical theater, classical vocal and choral work, and opera.
