11:00-12:00 Beginning Strings (Grades 6-8)
Has your child been begging to learn the beauty of stringed instruments? Do you know someone who is? Contact us today. Get on the list. These classes will fill up fast. Tuition is just $50 a month for our elementary classes.
About our new strings faculty member:
Julie Funchion holds a bachelors degree in violin performance from Pensacola Christian College and has been teaching strings since 1999. She has served as the director of the Strings Philharmonic, Capital Area Youth Symphony Association, and the Orchestra teacher at NOVA school. She has been teaching privately since 2001 and is the Assistant principal 2nd violin, Olympia Symphony Orchestra. She is also the Principal Viola player for the South Puget Sound Orchestra, and an active member of a professional string quartet.
Most importantly of course, she shares in our mission and values. And we are excited to welcome her to the team.
