Imagination Art is off to a great start. Kristin (teaching in our pilot program in the visual arts) did such a great job with her first two weeks of classes! And more than that, it is just amazing to see the academy grow as we are able to offer more excellent programs.

Kristin is a longtime friend of ours. Kristin and her husband John were two of our first friends in the Northwest when we first moved here from Boston. They were young parents, and Jenna and I looked to them in awe, wondering what it would be like be a mom and dad someday. And they are both talented artists and passionate educators.

We taught with them at a school in the Seattle area about 15 years ago and shortly after the Army and post-Army work would take us around the world a bit. We never would have imagined we would be partnering with them in teaching the arts today. But we are so excited as we imagine the possibilities. This makes six classes now at the academy, and we can’t wait to see what other ways we can serve the community.

Our desire from the beginning was that Tuned In would be more than just the best source for music education to the home-school community in the South Sound, but to be able to provide quality and relational education in all the arts to anyone and everyone that would desire to learn. With Imagination Art we take one step closer toward making that dream a reality.
