Spring semester began this April, but we still have plenty of great opportunities for music learning and making this spring! See below for both ongoing classes with room as well as new classes yet to start. We also have limited space available fro private lessons in piano, horn, and guitar, and spaces available for private lessons in voice.

Drum Lab (with SD)
Home school families, or families that are out of school early, we are getting ready to launch a brand new Drum Lab just for you! Drum Lab is a one of a kind opportunity for learning to drum in a friendly, fun, fast paced, and safe environment, taught by a conservatory educated professional music.
Drum Lab is a great opportunity for an introduction to drumming. All students will need is a pair of sticks, a pad, a folder (for handouts), and if you would like, a bucket (but we provide those at the studio for class).
Class will meet Thursdays 2:00-2:30 and we can start as soon as we have enough for a class. Share with your friends!

Musical Theater for Vocalists (with Molly Crane and Jessica Barnes)
Ages: 7-18
Students will have a blast learning ensemble scenes from musical theater works. We will focus on vocal technique and terms and technical aspects of the theater; much music will be learned!

Brass Lab (with SD)
Ages: 14-18
This class is for brass players with at least a few years of experience. Students must know most of their major scales and be able to read at a decent junior high level or above. Students will have a blast learning new skills and repertoire, honing their chops, and getting top notch instruction in this brass masterclass. We will focus on vocal technique, embouchure, blending, tone, and having fun. By appointment/audition only, contact SD at TIA.

Piano Lab (with SD)
Ages: 8-11
This class is for piano students with about a year or more of experience. Students should be able to read simple bass and treble clef. Contact TIA for an assessment.

This class is for piano students with about two years or more of experience. Students should be able to read bass and treble clef, play both hands at the same time, and know at least about half of their major scales. Contact TIA for an assessment.

This class is for beginners. No experience necessary. You won’t find a better opportunity anywhere in town. Fun, energetic, creative, and qualified instructor. We can start as soon as we have enough for a class! Class seats 6.

Next Level Piano (with SD)
Ages: 10-15
This class is for piano students with at least a few years of experience. Students must know most or all of their scales (Major, minor, harmonic minor, and melodic minor) and be able to read at a decent junior high level or above. Students will have a blast learning new skills and repertoire, honing their chops, and getting top notch instruction in this brass masterclass. We will focus on technique, feel, piano theory, new repertoire, and having fun. By appointment/audition only, contact SD at TIA.

Vox Acapella (with Jenna)
Ages: 12-18
Students will have a blast learning to sing in an acapella group with no instruments. Focus is on technique, tone, blend, and singing in an acpaella group (harmony, melody, counterparts, etc.). By appointment/audition only, contact Jenna at TIA.

Broadway Pop Choir (with Jessica Barnes)
Ages: 8-18
This class is for students who want to have fun and improve their talents for the stage! Students will sing, move and perform fun and energetic Pop Music, Jazz and Broadway tunes in a group setting. The class will focus on singing techniques, movement coaching, song interpretation, stage presence, and team spirit.
